Spinning ERP software for yarn mills, from bale to cone

eManage Spinning ERP is production and accounts software for yarn mills. It controls mixings from bale lots, process-wise production and waste from blow room to winding, count-wise costing by lot, and scale-connected packing with lot labels and GST invoicing. It is implemented on site by the eManage team from Ludhiana, Punjab.

WHY PLANTS SWITCH

Sound familiar? eManage fixes all four

A spinning mill knows its cost only when it knows its waste, its count-wise production and the exact bales in each mixing. This edition records all three at the process, not in a month-end spreadsheet.

Mixing planned in Excel

Bale lots and test values are matched to mixings on a spreadsheet nobody else can read.

Waste not measured by process

Blowroom, card and comber waste is estimated rather than recorded.

Frame efficiency on paper

Doffs and stoppages are written down per shift and summarised late.

Count-wise margin unknown

Yarn prices are set without a recent cost per count.

Here is how Spinning ERP handles each of these.

WHAT IT HANDLES

eManage covers every control point of a spinning unit

8 controls that come built into Spinning ERP, each tied to the same lot, order and ledger.

WHAT CHANGES

What changes on the floor with eManage

The people and machines stay the same. Each movement is recorded where it happens, so the owner reads a screen instead of waiting for the month-end register.

How eManage Spinning ERP works, stage by stage

Mixing

From bale lot to mixing, with the test values attached

  1. 1

Bales are received by lot with supplier, weight and test results. The mixing plan picks bales from specified lots and records the laydown.

  2. 2

The blend ratio and count master set the expected yield. Fibre issued to the blow room is the base for recovery.

  3. 3

Fibre stock, age and lot are visible. The mixing in-charge does not run short mid-month.

Spinning floor

Every process reports production and waste by shift

  1. 1

Each process reports production per machine and shift. Hank and count checks from the lab are recorded against the lot.

  2. 2

Waste is weighed per process and shift. Standard versus actual waste is reported the next morning by process and machine.

  3. 3

Ring-frame doffs and spindle efficiency are available per frame and operator. The incentive calculation runs on the same data.

Winding & dispatch

Cones weighed into bags, bags billed by the kilo

  1. 1

Winding output creates cone stock by count and lot. The packing scale is connected, so bag weights are captured without typing.

  2. 2

Labels print with count, lot, shade and net weight. Dispatch picks bags by lot against the sale contract.

  3. 3

Invoices go out by kilo with e-invoice and e-way bill. The count-wise cost sheet closes with actual waste and power.

FAQ

eManage Spinning ERP questions

Something specific to your unit? Ask an implementation lead.

Do we need machine sensors, or can production be entered by hand?

Production can be entered per shift from the floor terminal, and this is how most mills start. Where frames have counters or a mill-monitoring system, eManage can take the reading directly. Edge devices that read machine counters automatically are covered on emanage.ai/edge for when you are ready.

How is waste accounted?

Each process has a standard waste percentage per blend. Actual waste is weighed and entered by shift. Saleable waste, reworkable waste and invisible loss are separated in the recovery report, and waste sales are invoiced with GST from the same stock, so the mill knows where its fibre went every month.

We also spin on job work for other mills. Is that handled?

Yes. Fibre received from a customer is held as their stock by lot, mixed and spun against their order, and yarn is returned on a job-work challan. Conversion charges are billed per kilo, shortage is compared with the agreed waste, and ITC-04 is prepared from the same challans.

Can we move from Tally without re-entering ledgers?

Yes. Party, item and ledger masters with opening balances are imported from Tally, and bale lots, counts and waste standards are loaded from your Excel sheets at go-live. Mills that keep Tally for final accounts export vouchers from eManage; others run accounts in eManage. The mapping is done on site.

Is it for a 5,000-spindle unit or only large mills?

Both. A small mill enters production and waste from one terminal per shift and connects one packing scale. Larger mills add terminals per department and the eWarehouse app for bale and cone stock. The edition is the same, and go-live is typically 4 to 6 weeks with on-site implementation from Ludhiana.

What does Spinning ERP cost?

Pricing depends on the number of users, the modules you switch on and whether you run it on the cloud or your own server. It is quoted as a licence plus a one-time implementation fee after a demo on your own mixing and waste sheets. Call +91 98156 23402 or write to info@emanage.in for a quote.
